Why we do what we do

Built from a problem we kept running into.

ONNYON started with a simple frustration: getting ready for a ride was taking longer than it should.

The wardrobe was there. The forecast was there. The route was there. But the decision still meant opening a spreadsheet, checking notes, comparing temperature ranges, thinking about wind, rain, climbs, descents, and trying to remember which piece of kit worked last time.

A jacket that felt perfect in one ride was too warm in another. Two jerseys that looked almost the same behaved completely differently. A vest, base layer, or pair of gloves could make the difference between feeling prepared and regretting the choice twenty minutes later.

We built ONNYON because that decision should not live in scattered notes, memory, and guesswork.

We're a small team based in Switzerland, where unpredictable weather and demanding terrain make getting the kit right a daily puzzle. That's why we started here, with riders we can talk to directly, and why we'll be expanding from there.
